Certificate III in Hairdressing has been designed as the standard entry level qualification for the hairdressing industry. Functions at this level include applying skills and knowledge to sell products and services, ensuring a safe working
environment and performing a full range of client services, including clientconsultation and advice, hair and scalp treatments, haircutting, hair design, colour and lightening.
Entry Requirements English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5; (with no individual band less than 5.0) or TOEFL 530 or • ISLPR 2+; or English Language College Articulation arrangements exist with a number of Institutions.
- School Leavers must have completed Year 12 with sound achievement in English andMathematics; or
- Non school leavers must have relevant experience in the hospitality industry, or
- successful completion of Australian Qualification Framework Certificate or higher in an area of study.
Career Opportunities Chef or supervisor in hospitality organisations such as hotels, restaurants, resorts and catering organisations.
